SIGNATURE 1 - EVERYDAY MOMENTS
The pieces in your kit have been precut for you.

In order to complete your layout as shown you will want to round the corners of your pieces as shown in
the picture above.  Notice that not every piece is rounded.

Supplies:
Corner rounder
glue dots
adhesive
dark brown chalk pad
stapler
foam tape

Chalk all the papers with chestnut roan after you have rounded the corners as shown.
Punch out or cut apart all the parts and pieces in your kit.  Chalk everything and round the corners on
some as shown in the picture.
Beginning with the left page assemble the background as follows.  Adhere the pink paisley print to the
page approximately 3/4" in from the edge.  Glue the pink cardstock over this border as shown.
Find the square brown piece.  This will be a pocket.  Glue it in place as shown on three sides only
leaving the top edge free for a tag!
Find the square pink striped piece.  This is a pocket as well.  Glue it in place on three sides only
leaving the left edge free for a tag.  This piece will overlap the other three pieces.
The Right page is assembled as follows:  Glue the striped piece in place close to the right edge.  Glue
the pink paisley piece in place over the stripe leaving the space where it overlaps the stripe free to
create a pocket as shown.
Glue the pink and brown striped ribbon along the bottom edge of the paisley piece.
Glue the pink cardstock photo mat to the upper left hand corner.
ADD EMBELLISHMENTS:
LEFT PAGE:  Using foam tape or pop dots attach the pink frame to the upper right corner of the
brown pocket.  Tie a piece of brown gingham ribbon around frame.  Glue three buttons in bottom
corner.  Glue one small frame in the center of this frame and pop up the flower block in the center
Mat the title on a piece of green cardstock.  Glue a piece of pink stripe ribbon accross the front.  Tie a
small knot in a piece of ribbon and using a glue dot attach it over the ribbon.
Chalk the large Heidi Swapp flower with chestnut roan chalk pad to distress it and glue to the striped
pocket.  Pop up the title over the flower as shown.  Pop up the clock face over the center of the
flower.  Glue the hand to the clock face so it points to the title.  Glue a button over the hand.  Glue the
library card in the lower right hand corner of this grouping as shown.
RIGHT PAGE:  Pop up the remainging frame on the paisley border as shown.  Glue the little inner
frame in place and pop up the heart tile in the center as shown.  Glue a little button to each of the
three corners as shown.
Tie or staple a little piece of the remaining pink and brown stripe ribbon to each of the pink tags.  Glue
in place as shown.
Place the remaining tags and the small word strip in place in the upper right hand corner of the layout
as shown.
TAGS:  Before creating any of these tags for hidden journaling fit them into the pockets and trim as
necessary.  The large cream cardstock tag will fit into the pink striped pocket on the left page.  I have
written "time flies" across the top of this tag and rounded the corners.  Put into the pocket
On this same page you will make a tag using the remaining piece of cream cardstock.  Trim the quote
to fit this tag and glue to the top of the tag.  Put this tag in the brown pocket.
On the Right page using the script printed paper make a tag for the paisley pocket.  Use the
remaining little square as a hole reinforcer at the top of this tag.  Punch a hole and using the
remaining brown gingham ribbon make a tie at the top of the tag.  Place the tag in the pocket
Add your own pictures and place in your book.
