Dad is Love
Because I love Basic Grey paper and monograms I had to use these for a Father's Day
layout to honor the man in my life.  The challenge was using vellum.  I have not used
vellum in a layout for several years.  I have to say I am happy and will go back to vellum
for that muted look from time to time!

Another challenge was using stamps in a layout.  I am not a stamper so I did a little quote.
This is an area I will need to really work on.

Last I want to point out the photo corners.  They were made with small punched tags and
have eyelets set in them.  I was going to stitch them but did not have time so I chose to
used a dressmakers tracing wheel to perforate a stitched look at each corner. I used direct
to paper ink (chalk pad) to darken the faux stitching

.
take a closer look!
